Located in a wonderful green natural basin, Ongar Relax is a completely restored ancient 1700s quarter that has been trasformed into a residence with a Bed and Breakfast annex and wellness center with sauna, turkish bath and chromatic shower.
The Quarter was obtained by reclaiming materials, traditions and flavours. The buildings were in fact made up of a main manor, where the family that managers Ongar live, and a barn and stables,from which the space was restored into what is today rooms, a breakfast room and wellness center.
The Surrounding Fields are still used for grazing cows and the woods which encircle the property still give refuge to the many small wild animals of Lessinia.
At Ongar Relax you can breath in the mountain atmosphere with its enchanting scenery and sample the typical sense of tranquility and relaxation of the mountains. The family style management, rooms decorated completely in wood and attention to detail are what make your stay here comfortable and welcoming.
The Family who manager Ongar Relax, in addition to being connected to the quarter for generations, also manages one of the most typical alpine farmsteads (malga) of the surrounding area, la Malga Lessinia: located at 1616 m, for generations it has been a point of references for the production of homemade milk, ricotta, smoked ricotta and cheese. It's the perfect way to discover the traditional flavours of Lessinia in all its authenticity.
The Malga is open everyday from 9.30 to 18/20 in the Summer period and
only on Saturdays and Sundays from 09:30 to 18:00 during the rest of the year.
