Itinerary Description:

The comfortable Rifugio Bocca di Selva, obtained thanks to restoration of a old hut for the production of cheese, is the departure of this trail that, after almost one hundred meters on paved road, deviates on the right along a nice track, which crosses pastures and small fir woods, until Malga Masetto. From here you will venture into thick Folignani forest, the most backward part of Lessinia, where the wolfs are back to settle in with the first herd of central Alps from over one hundred year. The climb back up towards Folignani huts is pleasant without any specific slopes and the landscape is captivating in every season, especially during wintern days when it is possible to see the peaks of Western Alps. The track is walkable in all seasons with unique peculiarities in every period.
